Changelog

Updates on new Mav features, improvements and bug fixes as they ship.

Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your leads

  • New Feature
  • Integration

Connect Mav to Claude or ChatGPT and ask about your contacts, calls, transfers and conversions in plain English.

Mav now has an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code can read your Mav account. Sign in with your Mav login, pick your account, and ask things like "How many transfers connected this week?" or "Read me the transcript of the last call with this lead."

The connection is read-only. It can look up contacts, texts, calls, transcripts, clicks and conversions, but it can't text, call or change anything. It sees only the account you picked when you signed in, and it works for both the classic Mav app and Mav Next.

Improvements and fixes

  • Improvement

Improvements

  • When a contact gives a general time like "in the evening" or "tomorrow midday", the agent books the call without asking for an exact time. It picks a set time for each window, checks it against your transfer hours, and offers the nearest open time when no rep works that window.
  • When a contact sends a second text before the agent replies, the answer in the first text is saved before the agent responds to the rest.
  • Every page in the app now has its own browser tab title, so tabs and history are easier to tell apart.

Callbacks that follow your transfer hours

  • Bug Fix
  • Improvement

The agent shares your transfer hours when a contact asks for a closed time, offers an open one, and never books a call at closing.

When a contact names a callback time outside your transfer hours, the agent now says what the hours are, in the contact's local time, and offers the nearest open windows. It reads the hours from your account, so it never guesses.

How transfers and callbacks work

Improvements

  • A texted "call me later" now books a callback. The booking is checked against your transfer hours and shows as Phone Call Scheduled on the timeline.
  • When an auto contact also wants home insurance, the agent says the licensed agent will cover home on the call. The request shows under Properties on the contact, and the rep's whisper adds "They also want a home insurance quote."
  • A reply full of quote details now counts as a yes. The agent records what the contact already gave and asks only for what is missing.

Bug fixes

  • A callback can no longer be booked at closing time. It must start at least two minutes before transfer hours end, so the call dials instead of falling back to a text.
  • Missed-call notifications in Google Chat no longer fire for outbound sequence calls that lasted more than two minutes.

A new look for Mav

  • Improvement
  • Bug Fix

The app now wears the 2026 brand, with a clearer contact feed that shows who said what.

Mav Next has moved to the 2026 brand you see on hiremav.com: an ink sidebar and frame around a warm paper workspace, white cards with a hard ink edge, green primary buttons and light modals and menus. Every page and every modal made the move, from Contacts and Agents to all of Settings. Status badges are now light chips with dark text, and the app has a new icon.

The contact feed, with an avatar on every text and a call card that leads with talk time and the outcome

The contact feed got the most attention. Each bubble shows who is talking: Mav's mark, a headset for the bridged rep, or the contact's initials. Call cards now open with what matters, the talk time and the outcome, and keep the recording and transcript one tap away.

Improvements

  • Every text and call in the contact feed now has an avatar, so you can tell Mav, the rep and the contact apart at a glance.
  • The phone-call card leads with talk time, then Quote delivered, Policy sold or Transferred to rep, then the call summary, with the recording and transcript below it.
  • Contact notification and export emails match the new look.
  • When a contact texts during an outbound call and no one has talked yet, they get a text back. A "can't talk" text stops the redial.

Bug fixes

  • AgencyZoom's assignment group list no longer offers All Producers, which the integration could not honor. Pick a real group, or leave it blank to assign to the producer in Assign To.
  • Date of birth now reaches AgencyZoom for home leads.
  • Contacts texted between noon and 1 PM no longer get "Good evening."
  • New leads are no longer held on Columbus Day, Veterans Day or Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Conversions API and public API docs

  • Integration
  • New Feature

Record quotes, sales and your own conversions from any system, and read the docs at hiremav.com/api.

Your CRM, rater or management system can now tell Mav when a contact was quoted or sold. Find the contact by phone, then post the conversion. Mav marks the contact, records it on the timeline, and sends it to any webhook that listens for it.

The public documentation lives at hiremav.com/api. It has a request and response for every endpoint, a full example, and the errors you can expect. The same page documents the webhooks Mav sends you.

Read the API docs Outbound webhooks and the API

Improvements

  • Accounts can define their own conversions, like Application submitted, alongside Quoted and Sold. A custom conversion can complete the engagement or leave it running.
  • Outbound webhooks can subscribe to a new Custom Conversion event.

API changes

  • GET /api/v3/contacts/find?phone= finds a contact by phone number.
  • GET /api/v3/contacts/{id} returns one contact.
  • GET /api/v3/conversions lists your account's conversions.
  • POST /api/v3/conversions/{id}/events records a conversion for a contact. Recording it twice returns the first record instead of making a second.
  • The docs at /api now cover outbound webhooks: the payload, its fields, the Bearer header, delivery and retries, and every event you can subscribe to.
  • Every section of the docs is also served as Markdown, at /api.md and /api/<section>.md, with a Copy for LLM button.

Improvements and fixes

  • Compliance Update
  • Improvement
  • Bug Fix

Improvements

  • Mav now names your business by its DBA, then the account name, in every text and call, including the greeting, voicemail and the opt-out text.
  • Call transcripts and recordings now have personal details hidden, like card numbers, Social Security numbers and license numbers. Recordings stay hidden until the redaction is done.
  • When reps are unavailable at a callback time, the agent names the call it booked before it apologizes and offers a new time within your hours.

Bug fixes

  • The "calling you now" text is sent even when the call connects before the text turn.
  • A contact who asks the agent to write differently, in a pirate voice or all caps, keeps getting the agent's normal voice.
  • A "yes" to "are you still renting?" now saves rent, not other.
