MCP server
Mav in Claude & ChatGPT
Ask your AI about leads, calls, transfers, and clicks. Mav answers from your live data.

Overview
Mav's MCP server connects your Mav account to the AI you already use. Once it's connected, Claude or ChatGPT can look up contacts, count transfers, read call transcripts, and tally clicks and conversions, then answer in plain English.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard Claude and ChatGPT use to plug in outside tools. You add one URL, sign in with Mav, and that's the whole setup.

What you can ask
Ask the way you'd ask a teammate. Your AI picks the right Mav tools, pulls the numbers, and explains them.

How many transfers connected this week, and why didn't the rest?
Used Mav: list_calls
You had 42 transfers this week, and 31 connected with a rep (74%).
Of the 11 that didn't: 6 rang a rep who never picked up, 4 reached a rep's voicemail, and 1 is still being reviewed. Most of the unanswered ones came in Tuesday after 5pm. Want the list?

-
2
Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create. Name it

Tools
Your AI chooses among these on its own. You never need to name them, but it helps to know what's there.
-
search_contactsFind a lead or contact by phone number, name, or email. -
get_contactA lead's or contact's whole story: calls with their results, texts, events, and conversions. -
list_callsParty lines and phone calls in a date range with each result, plus counts of transfers, connections, and misses. -
get_call_transcriptA call's transcript, labeled by speaker, with the call summary and outcome flags. -
list_conversionsQuoted, Sold, Clicked, and your custom conversions, with event and unique-contact counts.
What counts as a successful call
Only a connected transfer: your rep joined the call, and Mav's post-call review confirmed they had a real conversation. Talk time alone doesn't count.
Every call comes back with a result and a reason, so your AI can tell you exactly where calls fall off.
-
Successful
connectedThe rep joined and they had a real conversation. -
Unsuccessful
not_connectedThe rep joined, but it was voicemail, hold music, or dead air. -

Security and privacy
- Read-only. It can look things up, but it can't text, call, or change anything in Mav.
- Your account only. Every answer comes from the Mav account you sign in to.
- Your login, your switch. You sign in with Mav, and you can disconnect anytime from your AI's connector settings.
- Lead text stays data. Texts and transcripts come from your leads, so Mav tells your AI to treat them as information, never as instructions.
- Your AI provider's terms apply. What you pull into a chat is handled by Anthropic or OpenAI under your agreement with them.
Good to know
- Times are in your time zone. "This week" means your week, in the time zone set on your Mav account.
- Classic and the new Mav. The connector reads leads and party lines on Classic and contacts and phone calls on the new Mav, and answers with both when your account has both.
-
Big ranges, short questions.
list_callslooks at up to 2,000 calls per question, so for a busy month ask about one week at a time.
